For the sake of not splitting things like regional variants or Megas for Pokémon, any game that takes place in the original game's worlds are considered part of their generations, so Fire Red / Leaf Green and Let's Go are considered Gen 1 (which is why Leaf is in the "Generation 1" section), HeartGold / SoulSilver's considered Gen 2, Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire's considered Gen 3, and Legends: Arceus (and, naturally, Brilliant Diamond / Shining Pearl) is considered Gen 4 except for the newly-added Pokémon which are considered Gen 8 due to their National Dex numbering (placing them after Sword / Shield and before Scarlet / Violet), and similarly Legends: Z-A would be considered Gen 6.
