By default, all traffic will be challenged but logged in users will bypass those challenges completely. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause as it was never our intention to try to force registration and you certainly still don't have to - passing one of those challenges should keep you in the clear for a half-hour otherwise.

That's the one from Super Paper Mario that led back to Flipside... or was it the one from The Thousand Year Door where it led you back to Rogueport? Dunno. Either way, that's what it was used for and in this fan game, it served a similar function to take you back to towns when in the middle of an area like say Bowser's Keep if you didn't feel like backtracking. It couldn't be used during boss battles, though.
