I still feel it's in bad faith to claim the game didn't have enough time for polish. Remember that they had to prioritize more important stuff like a completely new sprite-sheet for Kirby with fully compatible Ability Hats (mind you, at a higher framerate and more advanced sprites than Kirby Super Star since stuff like the Fire is more detailed), or giving Enemies more than 2 or 3 sprites for animation, as the NES game did. Amazing Mirror looks as good as it does since most of the heavy lifting was already done. I'd say for a game released within a deadline on new hardware, NiDL still looks good.
hm, i didnt thought of the multiplayer, but still, The game was planned to be released alongside the anime and try looking how many stuff from the nes game is just gone in terms of tiles, trees plaforms, the ice cream houses, the many types of rooms in butter buildings, and even some other castles rooms are just gone, only to a recolor to be put in their place, i find hard to belive that i was the gba fault for not having enough memory when amazing mirror exist
It wasn't because of that, the remake wanted multiplayer and thus had to remove the scrolling aspect of it since that only accounted for single player. This is speculation based on programming, but "the games must be rushed" is the last thing that should be assumed.
This is also so great
thank you so much
This is really good
i agree, waiting for the fog go down is just a downgrade from the original, i guess this is what happens when you dont have enough time to polish your games
thank you
One of the worst things about the GBA remake was they got rid of the spinning tower sections
This is so cool! Well done
