| Jul 24, 2017 11:16 PM | ninetalescommander | Game: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe | @Doc von Schmeltwick As someone that owned the original on the Wii U and bought all the DLC, I would say it depends entirely on how much you care about the character roster and the battle mode. If you love Battle Mode and was sorely disappointed with the original Mario Kart 8's version, this is so worth it. You have 5 different battle modes, 1 of which is brand new, and they can all be played online. As for the new characters, again it depends on how much are care about them, if you're a huge fan of Bowser Jr, King Boo, Dry Bones, and the Inklings, then yeah I'd say it's worth it. Plus remember this game has double items back as well as a 3rd level to drift boost so the chaos is even bigger on this 1. And as Deep Weeb said, being able to play on the go is a big plus in my opinion, especially with being able to play it with friends with the 2 joycons. Would I say it's worth 60$? Only if you really care about the new content, if not then no, don't bother. Hope this helps. |
