I had somehow missed the correct palette when I was initially ripping them, but after finding one for the equivalent sprites in the sequel, I figured I'd take another look. Two little bonus fun facts: The PS1 version of this game has only 7 stages, so the number sprite for the 8 goes unused in this version (the Saturn version has an extra stage, so it is presumably used there). Also, I have NO CLUE how to access the little stage select function in EITHER of the first two Time Bokan games. It most certainly must be unlocked via a button code, but as information on these games online is scarce (at least on the English-speaking side of things), I have no idea what those button codes are or how I could go about finding them! |

After finishing the second stage, the demo displays this screen, before resetting back to the title screen. While unused in the full game for obvious reasons, all of the graphical data for this screen still exists in the full game (in fact, I think the demo is just a full copy of the entire game, just with all but 2 stages and the title screen rendered inaccessible) |
