I've submitted two of the pre-release builds' UI files. These are just the raw UI pieces for now. Luckily most of the file names are pretty straight forward and easy to understand. I will be documenting as much of the game's UI as I can, as well as the UI from Mash-Up and Texture Packs, since they're 100% different from their Bedrock ports and I believe they should be "archived". I'll also try to cover as many of the game's updates over the years because there's some pretty fascinating stuff in here. If an update/build is too similar to another, like 1.66.0033.0 and 1.66.0035.0 having just one changed UI file, then I'll just skip over it, or at the very least, will only include files that were not part of previous updates.

Oh, and as a puzzling addendum: The font sprites are not actually used for the game's text at all, but rather ONLY for the splash messages on the title screen. The actual text in game, and on the menu buttons and UI and such, utilize a TTF font file in the game's media.arc file. I have no idea why this is the case.

@teh_supar_hackr Yeah so for some reason, and I'm not entirely sure why, 4J added all of the Java release 1.2 assets in the very first update, TU1 (in the res/1.2.2 directory), or possibly even a pre-release build. None of these files were ever used, but some were copied and put into the game's actual directory. Now despite the fact that they aren't used, that doesn't necessarily mean that the game doesn't try to read them. At the very least, none of the DLC uses that directory. The history of LCE UI files are quite confusing, and I've been working on some research to understand it better. Also I apologize for the way that message came off before!! I sounded mean and I don't mean to come off that way if I did!!

Edit: While the Java achievement assets were still unused, the Wii U and Switch editions DO have Achievement screens since they don't have native achievement systems obviously. They seem to use the same icons from the Xbox 360 Edition.

Another Edit: Today (December 17th, 2023) I've discovered that early versions of the game, at least Title Update 3-Title Update 12 DID use the 1.2.2 folder! Although most assets inside were still not utilized, the terrain.png and item.png atlases at the very least were.

@MNL I don't remember if the Achievements screen I submitted was even used, just know it was in the files of 360 edition (maybe other legacy console versions?)

@IAmAlsoOnRoblox The UI for the legacy editions of the game pretty complicated. Most of the menus are basically giant jigsaw puzzles consisting of many smaller parts. None of the assets left over from Java edition, like the supposed "Achievements Screen" submission found here, are even used in any version of the game. I might get around to submitting some of the UI if I can find a neat way to compile them.

1. Skin Packs are in the Textures Resource
2. Any packs that are also available on Bedrock were removed by the VGResource team

The Ruby was included in the Items.png atlas for an extremely long time, despite being unused. It was even retextured for some reason in texture and mash-up packs. Not really sure why since it seems 4J had no intention of adding them ever.

ChaoticPumpkin - Thats possible. I'm currently working on a website where every Minecraft player can download my ported packs from the Wii U. But it takes so much time to get all packs. Some of the packs are still unavailable. I try to get some Skinpacks first. After i made that i will concentrate on the resource packs.
