Well, this is quite an improvement!

Palettes are pretty much the same. While ripping I made sure that the colors I ripped with a savestate for sprites like the green Koopa were identical to the colors in the sprites of the original rip, so I have no reason to suspect any other sprites are miscolored.

@Sonikku Colors still the same? If I've been using and editing these sprites with the wrong palette for so many years, I'll be mildly disappointed XD

I've gone ahead and re-ripped everything from the ground up partly for organization, but also to rip the semi-dynamic frames of the Spike and Buster Beetle's animations. A few errors have also been fixed, like the Spike's head spikes missing as they are just white pixels (and the level I ripped them from via a screenshot rip 10+ years ago messed it up).
I've kept DVS credited, despite this being a full re-rip as I used their Boom Boom rip for some of their notes on certain frames and the like.

Looks like the bottom corners of the Angry Sun's second frame were flipped upside down by mistake! Silly developers.

Thank you so much Doc! This sheet feels more complete now!

@Murphmario Because I had been using frames to make animations and forgot about that. Hang on, I'll update again.
EDIT: Revision sent! Also added the skinny Goomba inside the shoe, as well as the sprites the shoe uses when something's in it (yes they're actually different)

Many thanks for the update Doc!
Edit: Why was this sheet made a gif when the original was a png?

Update: Completely redid Boom Boom because the previous rendition was horribly inaccurate. Also added missing Piranha Plants and fixed some errors with Missile Bill and Bob-omb.

Anybody noticed the red Goomba?

Oh gosh darnit! I didn't notice those two frames were missing!

@Murphmario What about Venus Fire Trap's closed mouth?

Doesn't the missile bill have a brown-ish frame?

Alright, updated this sheet with possibly everything that's missing.

I have no idea. Oddly enough, it seems to be the same as the Bob-omb flashing....
...also, make sure to get both colors for the Chain Chomp, the chains themselves also have subtly different colors.

Currently updating this sheet; does anyone know where the golden Spiny Cheep-Cheep came from? It's not the unused Gold Cheep-Cheep, since that uses the graphics of the regular version.

In that case, it was probably me forgetting to recolor the outlines.
Avatar

@Murphmario The thing is, the rest of the colors match up.

The outline colors are different for some of the sprites because YY-CHR renders some colors differently compared to, say, ZSNES.

Also, it turns out that grab blocks have different sprites when held by Buster Beetles. Should I include those on an upcoming tileset sheet I'm making or should I just update this sheet instead?

@Murphmario When you do, make sure the palette is consistent, last update's additions inexplicably had a different outline color.

I really should get to updating this again.
