	When I hacked the game to get the OAMs, I was surprised to see that when Great Tiger teleports, he leaves a sprite behind. They didn't do this with custom palettes (it would leave a green Great Tiger silhouette in that case) but just the same sprite reconstructed from blank tiles. Also notice that in the Playchoice-10 version, they darkened his skin as it would otherwise be too bright in the RGB palette, though interestingly Mr. Sandman and Mike Tyson didn't get this change.
