This game was way ahead of its time! Kinda unusual to see a GBA game have more content than its PS1 counterpart.

Almost finished with all seasonal maps, they are big so it takes a while to merge all the images. Afterwards, I'm not sure if background events (New Year's, Cooking Festival, Animal Festivals, etc.) make much sense, at least they don't to me unless maybe I include the villagers & perhaps have another section exclusive for these...

Then, only "3" sheets are still missing:
- Horse animations (including the ones from the festival)
- all 7 Harvest Sprites as NPC (which includes the mini-game animations)
- all of Claire's (or Jill, your character) animations

BUT without a tilemap, all these are too scrambled for me to make sense (hence why I've skipped them). May give them a try but no promises, if someone else wants to try I can provide ROM locations for graphics and palettes.

Thank you for all the updates on this! :D A friend and I have been creating Fanimations of Harvest Moon, and we are finally able to use pics/sprites! Just wondering, but are you able to upload a Winter Background for the towns, forests, mountain?

Woah, I don't know how I didn't see this earlier. You really did an amazing job, @samurai goroh! I began ripping the background from the base game a few years ago but I couldn't finish it myself due to not being to rip the full maps because of collision plus some personal stuff in my life. Still, I'm glad you managed to do this, bro. I'm impressed! :)

For the backgrounds in particular, I did used VBA screenshot while disabling some layers (to remove the character and GUI). As for moving around, I changed the player's coordinate values in RAM (so kinda like a GameShark code) while I froze the time at midday (though I initially had it at 9:00 am, but ended too bright but didn't want to start over).

As for outdoors in different seasons, that was one of the reasons I wanted it to split Backgrounds in two, one for indoors (where time doesn't change & lights are the same) and another for outdoors. I just didn't knew if I should have a slide per season/event and also what about day vs night...

are u using any gameshark to get all the full maps background? if so, I could help to get the variations (other seasons or mountain parallax changes, festival horses, etc)
