@danylopez123 I believe it might be down to whoever put the ROM onto MAME had hacked it as the other Sega prototypes that are on the latest release aren't clean e.g. Ooparts is hacked to use a joystick rather than a trackball, Head On Channel had its protection removed and apparently came from a multicart (possible pirated version?). According to the comments in the source code it says, "supposedly the data ROM mapping was modified" so it may/may not affect gameplay depending on what got altered but MAME would rather do things right.

They now made this official for MAME 0.236, no need for a custom MAME version to play that game, although it got labeled as "Hack" but i don't see any difference.

It took them almost two years to get the game dumped since it got shown off back in 2016 but it was worth every second of waiting.

I'm really glad this finally got dumped for us to use. Can't wait to see if people find any unused sprites in the gamefiles.

It was a different person actually. GerbilSoft (or maybe The Guru) was the one who dumped it, not ShouTime.
