	@Ton More or less, you're right. While "Totakeke" is indeed his Japanese name, he also states in the GameCube game that "K.K. Slider" is merely a stage name, and Totakeke is his real name.

	I think his name has always been Totakeke and his "stage name" is K. K. Slider.

	Pretty sure it is, it's the name used in the Melee trophy (which was initially about the Japan-only N64 game, while the American version said "FUTURE RELEASE" for the game.)
