Do any of you guys use Rocketdock?
It's a program that mimics the Mac's dockbar for Windows.

I use it and if is fucking awesome.
I now no longer use my startbar nor do I have any icons on my desktop.

I also put it my school's computers and made it so only I could use it. Probably against the school's computer use policy that I signed, but oh well. Teachers don't need to know about it.

I prefer ObjectDock.

Windows 7. It's built-in. WHAT'S GOOD

Rocketdock is the only way i can navigate my computer.

I have a broken version of windows xp without windows, a taskbar, or even the desktop. I use it in conjuntion with ultra explorer to navigate. Works surprisingly well when I don't have explorer.exe lol

I don't see what's so special.

It's just does the same thing as window's taskbar.

At one point, I had both Objectdock and Rocketdock running with a highly stylized visual style that matched the skins on both. It looked really cool.

The only problem with it though is that I rely on the taskbar so much that it's pretty pointless for me. The only time I ever use the dock anyway is when I'm on the desktop or have my windows minimized, which is almost never.

So I just got rid of it since it was just eating up resources and I never used it.

*However, they are very cool.

edit- Oh, but speaking of school computers, I used docks all the time on there. The school computers were really limited and it took forever for me to get to the applications I wanted, so I set up a dock to launch whatever instantly. Then I'd go around and run bbLean on all of the computers in the room and hide the taskbars, and people would totally flip out because they couldn't figure out what to do.

Good times.

I use drawer tabs, anyway.

So it's visible at any point and I can bring it up to launch a program.
