provided correct credit is given if made from a sprite sheet?

if it is then thats great because i can share my project resources. and i have mande a lot of animated Gif images from difrent sprite sheets on this site.
also are sounds permitted

GIFs: If it is a sprite sheet thats non moving and without messed up colors that hasn't been submitted before you can submit it.
Sounds: It's kinda up in the air at the moment how exactly tSR is going to expand so in the future we might but at the moment we don't

ok thanks. bit of a disapointment cos i animate peoples spritesheets (notibly RedBlueYellow's) into the characters into the game at 60 fps.
i will ait for the future. or i could put them in a zip or rar file. is that permitted to submit? and i mean things like the torchic in my sig. its about 1.5 KB in size. and can be made even smaller

Well to be honest It isn't hard to animate sprites and it just wastes more bandwidth then what we have and we have more of a risk of people hot linking the image.

fair enough. i was just hoping that i could share the resources from my pokémon project with others. but i guess i will just have to press on with the project and show u all the end result. =)

You can. Just make a thread about it under the projects section. You can post your updates and animated sprites (Give credit to the sprite maker) and generally talk about it.

As for a more on-topic post, if you wanna share your animated GIFs, it might be a good idea to post them in the Sprite Projects section as a resource or something. So people know where to find them if they need 'em. I dunno, I think this'd be a pretty cool idea for a section on the site (as long as they're all put into ZIP files and quality checked first), but I have no control over that, and I doubt anybody else really agrees with me.

Game Sprite Archives accepts animated GIFs, but I used to be a frequent there, and they've been dead for a while; they just recently took their forums down. I'm not sure how effective submitting there would be.
