What games would make awesome movies?

Halo would be quite a good movie. after all people has been calling Masterchief the new "rambo". it fits what hollwood wants in a mass audience film(lots of action, lots of effect, easily recognizable characters, light straight plot). it would be made as one single movie, and eventually the sequels would be announced.

and well, a metal slug movie would be adapted into one of those ben stiller parody movies(wich has been made already so no thanks).

MGS is a movie on its own. shouldnt be that hard to be adapted.

I'd love a movie of something like Gradius. or Raiden. Or Ikaruga. or just a movie about SHMUPs just for an excuse to see a long cutscene of a brave spaceship single-handleing a whole fleet of enemies.

as long the movies are produced by Hollywood, they'll suck.

I think that RPGs could be transformed into a movie easily because they have a more detailed plot than... say, Super Mario Bros.

A Gradius movie would be great if they included the Boss Rush section (also use songs from the game)

And re-spawning in a Metal Slug film would be quite hilarious. No doubt if it got made it would be super serious though and not have an elephant crashing through a wall and zap loads of people with electric death.

If you put LOZ: Oracle of Ages and Seasons together (Seasons first, then Ages) you could perhaps get somewhere with some plot altering/adding. Same with Twilight Princess.

No Mario game could ever be a movie. EVER.

Hm...There aren't many others. Metroid Fusion would make a great movie though.
