RE: Techokami's Sprite Warehouse, 5th Edition (0 New/0 Updated)
Good to see that I can now focus on more worthwhile targets, like this updated Sonic sheet!
Added the wobble animations, swinging from a vine (ala Rush Advance), the clearest possible grinding I can manage, and floating in a bubble (I can't remove the bubble). Also removed the random stuff I tacked on, which will probably reappear in future sheets (thinking of making an Objects sheet and Eggman sheet).

RE: Techokami's Sprite Warehouse, 5th Edition (0 New/1 Updated)
So for some personal needs, I needed to make some tileset rips from the Sonic Advance series. So I made a tool in PHP to automate this, details here: http://forums.sonicretro.org/index.php?showtopic=15941

Also, yesterday, JoseTB made a breakthrough on Sonic Rush's level formats - enough to give me that edge I have been seeking to make tileset rips from Rush/Rush Adventure. JoseTB's thread is here: http://forums.sonicretro.org/index.php?showtopic=16629

I've decided to release these rips to the public.

Sonic Advance
http://holenet.info/levelrips/sadv_all_levels.zip

Sonic Advance 2
http://holenet.info/levelrips/sadv2_all_levels.zip

Sonic Advance 3
http://holenet.info/levelrips/sadv3_all_levels.zip

Sonic Rush E3 Beta
http://holenet.info/levelrips/rushbeta_all_levels.zip

Sonic Rush
http://holenet.info/levelrips/rush_all_levels.zip

Sonic Rush Adventure
http://holenet.info/levelrips/rushadv_all_levels.zip

Important notes! You should read this before making a reply
1) These are intentionally released as ZIPs containing a series of numbered PNGs. Why not release them as a single image? Because releasing them as a single image is really dumb. Sunset Hill Zone of Sonic Advance 3 is over 700 blocks. The image would be too large for most image editors and browsers. Also, having them as a collection of PNGs makes it easier to use blocks - you don't have to fuss with having to split the image apart or carefully cutting out the block and pray it comes out right.

2) There are no BGs. This is because the BGs are completely separate from the FGs, and I only focused myself on FGs. Someone else can rip the BGs, but not me. Please do not ask me to rip BGs.

3) Likewise, I did not rip any level objects (like springs, rings, and things) as they are also separate from the FGs. Half the checkpoint is in the Sonic Advance 2 sets, and I do have level objects ripped from Sonic Rush that I COULD make as another sheet.

4) No pallete animations are included. This includes waterfalls and blinking lights. This is because those palletes are separate from the main pallete I used to create the rips (usually in a function somewhere).

5) I also have packs of individual levels, if these are too large. I'll post links to those if you need them instead. Once I know what would be best, I'll make icons.

This is a tile rip of the foreground! There is a difference. Tongue

If you call foregrounds "backgrounds", then what do you call backgrounds? O_o
Also to prevent thread derail, I still need to know what would be better: omnipacks like I have now, or individual packs?

Very awesome. I've also wondered if Sonic Rush Adventure's character images were model or just pre-rendered sprites. It would be awesome to have some rips of Captain Whisker and Johnny if they're pre-rendered sprites. Anyway, awesome job on the foreground tile sets. I've been wanting them for a while.

They are pre-rendered. Someone else can rip them, though.

Awesome. You're incredible sir. I'd rip Whisker and Johnny if I had the means to. Unfortunately I'm rather uneducated when it comes to DS ripping beyond simple ones like Rocket Slime.

This is great. Awesome work.

You should add Luigi's Thunderhand to Mario attack.

Hmm, can we delete the ones currently on the site, or do you think they still have some worth?

EDIT: The Moon Zone zip doesn't seem to be active anymore.

You should add Luigi's Thunderhand to Mario attack.

Should work now. The filename was missing an underscore, so I fixed the link.

Oh, so they have cut-scene images. I was wondering if the actual in-play character images were pre-rendered sprites or actual models. I'm assuming they're models though?
