Well I believe that each of the males and females should have their own bases. Pretty much like you said. The rivals can possibly have their own poses as extra and share some of the same poses as the males.

The Rivals will work on their own separate bases, since their personalities are all different (Blue's kind of a dick, Silver's a thief, and a 'bad guy', Wally's just Wally, and Barry/Pearl's hyper).

...But that's where the problem starts...The Main characters don't have much personality, as they are meant to be you, so having one base could be justified that way(With Customization, it wouldn't really be too much of an issue...right? Of course, this could screw up the Overworld...Unless I just focus on the heads, and add minor details to the bodies, like in D/P/Pl/HG/SS). I mean, even Red in G/S/C didn't have anything to say...

Rivals, Gym Leaders, Elite 4 & 'Friends' will probably have a taunt, or like a 'bring it on' like they did in D/P/Pl (before you took out their last Pokemon) and I might add something for the 'Hero' Trainers...I haven't actually thought this through yet...

Also, just a minor note, but I feel if I make 'Classic Red' I think there should be a female to go along with him...I'm pretty sure that she's the same girl from the Manga (Black Dress, White Gloves, Black Shoes...I think she was in the old instruction Booklet, but I don't know because I lost mine)...If I'm wrong, please point it out before I make her.

There's an emptiness inside her and she'd do anything to fill it in.
And though its red blood bleeding from her now, it felt like cold blue ice in her heart.
When all the colors mix together to grey, and it breaks her heart...

How she wishes it was different... She prays to God almost every night.
And though she swears He doesn't listen, there's a hope in her that he just might.
She says "I pray! Oh, but they fall on deaf ears... Am I supposed to take it on myself to get out of this place?"

Haha, well all of Team Rocket that showed up in the games will be made...and I'm pretty sure those two were in Yellow version...

You should try making the template first to see how it comes out before trying the other trainers, and maybe add a pallete for the style.

Well, the Palette is the same as the latest game(so right now, it's Platinum's Palette, most of the stuff will stay with this palette, though) but I should get all the colors set up, so I don't wing it for every trainer...
