You have to have Dolphin's graphics set to DX9 and use the 32bit Dolphin, because 64bit might not work.

If any of my model links are dead, look for them here.

RE: Great program called DX Ripper
It doesn't like 64-bit applications? Weird. That would certainly explain why it didn't run. Good, now I MIGHT be able to rip Star Fox Adventures.

Nope. 32-bit version doesn't launch, much less do any ripping. Now I'll never get those 3D models.

RE: Great program called DX Ripper
I've been getting all the models from Pokemon Channel with this! They're all cut up into pieces, but I can just easily merge them together in Misfit Model 3D. I'll start submitting them sometime later.

You know what, I'll just screw the whole thing. It's not working with x86 versions of Dolphin or PCSX2, so yeah, I guess I can't rip the f***ing models from the games I want. What an asinine program.

That's...a shame.

I can confirm that it works for Pokemon Colosseum via Dolphin x86.

Do you have the 32-bit version of Dolphin, running the Direct3D 9 video backend?

Yes indeed. While 3DX Ripper will launch the 32-bit program, that's where it stops, it doesn't show any indication that it's ready to extract models, textures, etc because F12 is assigned as a savestate key. Dolphin only tells me that it couldn't load a nonexistent save.

DirectX9 backend is selected in the video settings and I'm using a recently released SVN, so maybe it only likes non-beta versions. But the official Dolphin 3.0 sucks balls compared to the progress beta versions have made in recent months.

My GPU isn't THAT bad, it's a mid-range GT555M on a Lenovo IdeadPad Y570 with a Core i7 2670QM. So, I know my specs aren't super high-end, they're not exactly crappy either.
Heck, I can't even download version 1.8.1 because the link's dead, I get a 403 Error on the official site. I'd use 3D Via Printscreen, but it's some piece of s*** at this point.

What the f*** am I doing wrong?

It's F10, not F12.

That's what I meant, but either way, it doesn't dump.

Just installed it and F10 is set as "disable textures" and F12 is set to "Capture". Is that what you meant? Either way, it sucks I can't use the freakin' thing.

You have to type a range between two numbers. For example 0-100. That will import all .RIP's between 0 and 100. If you have 1000 .RIP files, you can type 0-1000.

Finally it partially works for with (Wii) Pandora's Tower, but the models are posed. The interesting thing is that it works only using the first method with injector.exe . Instead dolpin crashes If i use the second method, renaming intruder.ddl to d3d9.dll .

I think to only advantage that this program has is that you don't need 3ds max 2009 to import the rips, which is needed with 3d via.

You'll need to find the old "Beta 8" release, since the Steam one disallows any sort of model ripping.
