Issue with extracting from a .CPK file (PSP ripping)
So today I decided to try ripping from Steins;Gate Hiyoku Renri no Darling, a PSP game.

All of the game's resources seemed to be stored in two .CPK files, DATA0.CPK and DATA1.CPK. Running them through QuickBMS with the CPK script gave the error "not a @UTF table at 16". I googled around and found another program that was made for some Valkyria Chronicles game that was supposed to deal with it, cpk_unpack.

The two DATA CPKs extracted fine with it and inside them are a bunch more CPK files. Trying to run them through QuickBMS gives the same error as before, and cpk_unpack now does nothing with them. Anyone know what I should do next?

I believe I remember either RTB or Segtendo talking about CPK files over on Smashboards..Have you tried running them through [urlhttp://oasis.xentax.com/index.php?content=home]Noesis[/url] to see if they are in any kind of recognizable format?

Noesis can't seem to extract anything from the files, but that seems to be because it was made with ripping models in mind (or at least that's what I grasp from the website), and the game I'm trying to rip from is a 2D game.

Noesis can also extract certain archive types.

Have you tried running Gitmo on it?

Oh look at how she listens... She says nothing of what she thinks.
She just goes stumbling through her memories staring out onto Grey Street.
But she thinks, "Hey... How did I come to this? I dreamed myself a million times around the world but I can't get out of this place."
There's an emptiness inside her and she'd do anything to fill it in.
And though its red blood bleeding from her now, it felt like cold blue ice in her heart.
When all the colors mix together to grey, and it breaks her heart...

How she wishes it was different... She prays to God almost every night.
And though she swears He doesn't listen, there's a hope in her that he just might.
She says "I pray! Oh, but they fall on deaf ears... Am I supposed to take it on myself to get out of this place?"

Ran all the CPKs through Gitmo and double checked them with Noesis again. Still nothing =/

Can you open one of the unpacked files in a hex editor, and see if the header says anything? I've been able to get a couple Wii games to open by noting a LZ77/LZMA header on their unknown files..

Sorry for the late reply - I opened up the CPKs in a hex editor like you suggested, and it looks like they all have the same header, which just seems to be for CPK.
