RE: CRITIQUE MY SPRITES
When showing sprites, by all means show them blown up, but please also show them at their native resolution. It makes it a lot harder to comment on them.

I do just want to give one comment on the guy with the beard: more contrast! Some of the shades are totally useless, since they're almost indistinguishable from the shades next to it.

RE: CRITIQUE MY SPRITES
what hoeloe said.

I don't see any blatant problems; the most I can say is that the alien guy's walk doesn't look like one because it doesn't place its feet forward enough, and office guy is goose stepping on place instead of walking down. All those pieces are minimalistic so I don't have much to say. I hope to see more from you in the future.

Your jealousy is the speed of my success.

Will do! Most of these were just so tiny that you could hardly make out what they were without having them blown up a bit. (One thing I've noticed about myself is that I consistently make sprites way too small, so I'll work on that too)

I originally intended the alien guy (first image) to be walking diagonally down, but I had a hard time making a left/right walking sprite. Image 3 was a quick animation test substituting the diagonal version for the nonexistent left and right walking sprites. I guess it looks... kind of like walking? But I agree, it isn't optimal.

I had the same problem making left/right walking sprites for the office guy, so I might end up remaking him at a higher resolution.
