It's not very easy to see minor changes in a sheet, so include animations.

The hair needs more contrast, don't use that nearly white blue, the shading is barely visible. Besides it looks really blocky, you might want to rounden the top more. Also, your lines need a lot of work, they are really jaggy, as if you just doodled them. One does not draw sprites, one pixels them.
I wont even start on anatomy. You really should use some references on how human bodies look. Of course that's hard for beginners. I haven't quite figured it out myself Tongue

RE: C+C request, sprite sheet of my persona.
the lineart is all really rough, you should get rid of all the jaggies

the anatomy isn't great either plus he's leaning back quite far so he's unbalanced
you should give him a steadier pose

the scarf shading isn't really conveying a scarf - i would suggest getting drapery references even though this guy's scarf is floaty.

the animations seem pretty good so far though so keep at it!

RE: C+C request, sprite sheet of my persona.
just saying that making sprites means drawing pixels in a logical, coherent way.

making rough scribbles and filling them with colors isn't spriting whatsoever. Please take more time to make sprites, don't just scribble them aimlessly, clean them up.

Finally, but not least important, study anatomy. It's the basis for ALL art, and this includes pixelart.

Your jealousy is the speed of my success.

RE: C+C request, sprite sheet of my persona.
I think that the main concern as of now should be to fix the lineart. It looks incredibly jagged and/or too straight-edged. On the scarf especially, I noticed that you're using a 2,1,2,1,2,1 pattern, which is not good. Instead, you need to round them out; try something along the lines of some ratio of a 3,2,1,2,3 pattern.

The head looks as if it consists of incredibly straight / polygonic edges, which isn't natural one bit. You may need to use a 3,2,2,3 pattern.

I'm sorry that I'm lacking any images as of now. I'm currently on my phone, but I nonetheless wanted to give advice while I still remember.

Edit: ah, you guys totally beat me to it. Hahah, I guess that's what i get for not refreshing!
Oh well. :>

update:

I will get right onto the head I know its terribly blocky Tongue
[Image: xgacmf.png]
I fixed the head, I can notice there still is some jagged lines like on the legs.
Is there aaaanything else that needs to be fixed?

The scarf's shading is jaggy and just sorta looks like a line which doesn't convey the shape or folds very well.
A good example of cloth shading is Lute from Fire Emblem:The Sacred Stones. (The style is also quite close to TFR which helps as well.) Note how it isn't over shaded, and how there are a few strategically placed shapes/lines to show the dips and creases in the cloth.

I will keep that in mind, even though that is more silky cloth. Tongue

It's less jaggy, but it still just looks like it's pasted on and it's a dark stripe on the fabric. I suggest drawing it by hand (it doesn't have to be too good) and marking on where the folds are in the cloth. Then try and break up that large central line into meaningful shapes and lines.

Everybody thank you for your help and input so far, I am going to take a break now I've basically been on straight since yesterday morning working on the sprites. Tongue

One thing I want to mention for when you start on them again. In the appearing/disappearing animations, the scarf in the second frame (for appearing) looks like it's going the wrong way, especially when you compare it to the frame that follows.
