These were all in convient folders so I thought why not. This is my first subimission so tell me if I'm getting everything right. From the original folders they were in I'm slightly regornizing and slightly renaming them along with getting rid of duplicates (very few).

Now having to convert ogg to wav with Audacity. It's working fine but it's tedious.

Yeah that looks great. I'm going to do the monsters next and I have a problem: there's over 300 total and I could seperate them into indivual folders but some monsters only have one or two sounds each. Would you rather have them all in one or seperate even if some folders have so few?

Also I found the sound folders in Half-Life and I was wondering about your policy on naming. Most of the original names make sense but some are confusing, like c2a2_ba_launch, for Barney's info on launching the satellite. Should I rename everything?

It's okay if some monsters' folders only have a few sounds, as long as they're all in the same .ZIP (and if it all fits under the file size limit). You wanna keep things organized as much as possible.

As for the HL sounds, yeah you can rename stuff if you want to, I don't see anything wrong with that. Makes it easier to identify them. I think other people may have done that as well...

???? i'm a little confuzed as why you would have to change the format at all. all the sounds can just be taken out of the folder on this game. I'd know because when i used to make videos i used like these sound effectgs mostly because they were already on the computer.

OH right, i forgot about that. the NPC voices were the only things i could'nt use. well glad u uploaded this. my new computer did'nt come with Fate PC this time so i needed more sounds. it would be cool to get the models or textures out of it but i don't know how to do that.
