Eventually and hopefully, yes. As of now the program that Avegaille and I are using doesn't allow for the overworld files, so it's probably just a matter of waiting for the person who made the program to update it, and they should be rippable. Smile

I've experimented with Tinke for a bit when it comes to overworld sprites (sometime ago)... like these bodyshots and headshots, the overworld sprites are separate... head and body that is. Of course, my other concern was the palette of those overworlds (it looks very wrong even when I hit the right size hence unrippable until a new fix comes out) ... and the fact that it changes (the shadow below it) when you press R or L to change the view.

And wow, I'm pressed you've done more at this point, but IE2 just came out for EU (which will also distract me for a while so yeah XD)... I may ask the creator of Tinke to put the EU game codes (or let him approve my submission) so I could start working on some of the English stuff there...

And yeah, I think you should put the skin palettes for the others to see and use as reference when needed... xD:

Well, it is technically the last sheet, but I've finished it, so here it is:

And also just a minor change to the first 2 icons for the bodies so they'll match the rest.

With that, the IE Heads/Bodies Project is complete. (unless you're willing to go through the first Japanese game, which had a set of different head designs for the main characters, but let's leave that to someone who had free time in their hands)

I did found a folder where the head icons (usually for the save file and the list of players from your Friends page) are located. It's in data_iz -> pic3d -> ih.pkb

For this for work, you need to ignore the icons that indicate if it's a palette/tile because it isn't. When you've unpacked one of the files in the ih.pkb (let's say File0.pac_ keep unpacking until you see 3 files, you'll only need 2 of those btw), the second one on the list is actually the palette, so just press P for it, then then the first one is actually the Tile, you can press T for it. Tiny little icon is revealed.

As for overworlds, still no progress or update for Tinke on that one... but I have a feeling the structure is similar to that of London Life's NPC's sprites, just that the heads and bodies are separate.

So, there we have it, big thanks to redblueyellow for helping and doing most of the ripping... and pleonex for making Tinke. Big Grin

Would it maybe be a good idea to add the full team sprites? I got them all in a few folders, from all the games. (Anime-shown teams only) for people who don't know how to handle the head+body?

On all of Avegaille's sheets she included a tutorial of how to do the head+ body, and for the most part it is pretty self-explanatory. All you have to do is overlap the headshot onto the bodyshot in the same box (without the background on the headshot obviously). Tongue

I think it should be fine as is, but if anyone else feels it's really needed then it can always be added.

Also, great job to Avegaille for the help with the project and pleonex for the amazing tool. Smile

Progress on overworld sprites! Big Grin Although it's very minor progress, I just need to figure out which palettes correspond where (as the palettes for the sprites shown above are obviously incorrect), but it should be workable soon enough.
