RE: Facebook Trolling/Arguements
I don't really care - but I'm just saying that you're sort of showing off about how one side of your argument sounds better because it's logical... But this person is obviously pretty stupid anyway...
If someone is genuinely depressed, telling them to cheer up is really horrid, but to be fair, this person is just stupid and doesn't know what they're talking about and is saying life is shit because that's what people do.

Oh look at how she listens... She says nothing of what she thinks.
She just goes stumbling through her memories staring out onto Grey Street.
But she thinks, "Hey... How did I come to this? I dreamed myself a million times around the world but I can't get out of this place."
There's an emptiness inside her and she'd do anything to fill it in.
And though its red blood bleeding from her now, it felt like cold blue ice in her heart.
When all the colors mix together to grey, and it breaks her heart...

How she wishes it was different... She prays to God almost every night.
And though she swears He doesn't listen, there's a hope in her that he just might.
She says "I pray! Oh, but they fall on deaf ears... Am I supposed to take it on myself to get out of this place?"

RE: Facebook Trolling/Arguements
honestly it's not even just in cases of depression where it's shitty to tell them to 'just cheer up' (although in cases of depression it's like, double-shitty)
because sometimes people have valid reasons to feel bad about things (although obviously not when they're just joking around about christmas music being shitty)

if you feel generally really good about your life? good for you! i don't begrudge you your happiness, but you are really lucky and you should accept that, rather than trying to shame other people into shutting up about their problems because you don't personally relate to them.
which is all positive thinking ever amounts to.

I think this pretty much hits the nail on the head all together. I could not argue against this cause well, you can't really argue against that! lol

If I said I was happy about my life, I would be lying, so I don't want you to think that is what effected my decision. At first, it wasn't even for entertainment purposes, but bleh, it got out of hand. This is why you should get good sleep before you jump on this type of stuff, kids! Anyway, everyone has made valid statements about this whole thing, I can agree on that for sure. I'm hoping to hear more.

RE: Facebook Trolling/Arguements
I completely understand everything that everyone has said. And I feel more grateful for everything in my life than you all will ever know, including having joined here. I just hate to see so much negativity. You know how that goes.

Also you guys might think I'm rude for feeling this way but I don't *personally* feel like there is too much wrong in joining in on someone else's conversation if you have something good to add to it (in which case I think Sean's intentions were good, they just didn't work out), trying to help, etc., and I know it's generally rude and whatnot but that's just me.
