The key is to dodge ice blast, she will fuck you up if you get hit by that. It's easy since it moves slower than a bowel movement

I actually put "play evelynn" because like the rest of that post it is bad advice; she is a bad character and will always be for as long as she exists

riot has explicitly come out and stated that w/ evelynn's design, if she's good then she'll stomp inexperienced bad players too hard (harder than they would like to be possible), and despite popular opinion being that she is absolutely godawful she gets nerfed on an alarmingly frequent basis (not all that frequent, but it's a higher number than zero, on a bad character) because every once in a long while someone FINALLY finds some quirky niche set-up or strategy where she works ALRIGHT-ISH and then riot goes "NOPE CAN'T HAVE THAT" and nerfs her

having someone in the team get oracles and sticking together and not going deep into enemy territory when they're not visible on the map is good though, the thing about evelynn is also that she's easily counterable by specific things and those are the things that counter her so just keep doing them

I mean, I did catch the joke bit of the post, but for some reason I'd usually get ganked by her pretty and then get destroyed in a matter of seconds somehow. It's probably just because I'm just really really bad at the game though.

if you are off alone extending into enemy territory that does tend to happen yeah, and that's basically how it works; she's sometimes (depending on how nerfed she is at that given time) good at destroying people for doing that kind of thing, but you're really not supposed to be doing that ANYWAY regardless of who's on your team or theirs, anyway; it's a tendency of inexperienced players, hence "she stomps bad players but doesn't work against good players"
