also as far as threadglitch goes, you can't go to the page with the post at all.

the page doesn't exist until there are at least two (and eventually it got to three and four) posts first

I didn't just have the glitch at new pages. New posts sometimes weren't showing up for me at all, and a few times they were my own posts.

was i the only kid who was generally intimidated by any moderately "scary" levels in games

like boo's mansion in mario 64 or the haunted house in banjo kazooie

i mean really

the music would like set in and your heart would race

not because you were like thrilled

but because you were like

get in and get the FUCK out

i mean seriously i would be oh red coin behind a piano thats a bad hiding spot its not even hidden and then all hell would break loose

every fucking time you would get near that thing it was just as terrifying as your first experience with it

now theyre like every other level and i just go through flipping and twirling trying to see what i can wall jump up to

Reminds me of when those yellow/black spiders in Super Mario Sunshine scared me when I was little.

Couldn't go near them! Also with Wind Waker the dark dungeons were creepy.

I was afraid of hyrule field at night/the redeads a lot, and that mario 64 level, and all sorts of stuff. The ghost pirate ship in wind waker would make me feel unsettled and I don't think I was even that young when I played it ...

My brother forced me to watch him play pretty much every resident evil game too. Somehow now that I'm older, even after all the sleepless nights, I like zombies a lot.
