How to use Spritesheets?

Hi, I'm making a street fighter game in Csharp and I was wondering how you use a spritesheet? I'm currently making gifs out of them, but that seems inefficient and time-consuming.

Well first of all this is in the wrong forum, it goes in Questions, Info and Tutorials (a mod'll move it), but anyway you just open the sheet in a program like Paint and use the selector tool to grab the sprites you want. I dunno about the program you're using but that's pretty much it. What SF sprites are you using?

there is no easy way to use sprites; sadly, you'll need to arrange them by yourself (unless the ripper/spriter's been kind and enclosed them in even boxes, then in this case you could use a program that makes gifs from box strips; see Previous' Gif Animator on Game Development section of this forum).
