RE: PSP Model Ripping
As far as I am aware, they are emulated about as well as the Xbox right now. Which is to say, not well enough to even bother.

As for DxRipper, funny you mention that because there IS something like that for PSP. It doesn't work for all games, doesn't rip textures, and won't always rip everything correctly, but its something. Download the lamb 0.32 plugin here and activate it on your PSP. Once its active, just go ingame and hold the music note button aka the mute button down for a few seconds. The game should stop for a little bit (the time can vary) and then keep going again. Once it unpauses, you know you've got your rip. Then just use the included converter to get an .obj copy of your dump.

Yes on an actual PSP. Still, I can understand why you wouldn't have one. Unmodded, its not really the best system out there. A modded one with every emulator under the sun is great to keep with you though especially for long trips.

RE: PSP Model Ripping
If it got Red Ring o' death you can send that in to Microsoft and get it fixed free so long as you didn't get it second hand. PSP really doesn't have those kinda issues though generally.

RE: PSP Model Ripping
try this: http://drakon.ixan.net/?p=315
tools by drakon, for now there's no texture support, but we can rip geometry plus uv's!!

here's plugin download link: http://code.google.com/p/psplamb/

for textures... we need asistence from the masters of tilemolester or something to visualize memdump from cwcheat, for now it seems that is the only way
