UPDATE: Nintendo Submission 6:
Metroid Zero Mission Maptiles, v 2.0

I added a few more game-specific items, so now there are (P)ortals, (B)oss Portals, (A)mmo Recharge stations, and more. Enjoy.

.....................wow! that map tileset is.... huge! great job! but I just cant help but feel there's something missing........ oh, I know, did you add a ZM styled boss Icon from fusion? or the ship from fusion? or how about when you save in super metroid? when It shows that light-thing where you last saved? after all, It is like a ZM styled map from the whole series, right? well anyways, great work!

It says it's CURRENTLY INCOMPLETE, which means hat those icons have yet to be added. But don't worry, I have them in sight for my next update!

Also, how do you like my "Samus gets a message" pose in the icon?

at first I thought "is this when samus updates a map? no, thats from prime but what part of ZM is this?" then I found out it was custom made, I like it!

Well...it was an edit... I tried to do one facing the other way, as well, but then I ended up making her hide her visor instead... Oh well. I get my inspiration for those custom poses from Metroid: Third Derivative. Too bad they don't update it anymore...

I know you were missing something, and I had remembered just now, I looked it up just to make sure, in super metroid, underneath the elevators is a little red line showing where the elevator that samus goes on is, and I have just noticed there is the dotted line leading to one place to another. here's an example:

Well, it's in ZM tiles, so just use an elevator like shown below.

As for the dotted tiles... well... Just
1) replace them with the REAL tiles with a GRAY background,
2) use the arrows to show this part goes into another "sector", or
3) make the dotted lines yourself.

Remember, this is MZM maptiles.

EDIT: Last-second update on that sheet. Two crucial Fusion tiles.
