IMPORTANT- Attitude issues + forum restructure

I mentioned I'm willing to stop being such a dick to everyone if it helps change the forum for the better, yes (in the mod forum, but I did state I was willing to do so)

Let me say this:

Spamhaul wasn't the worst part of this forum. The attitude that generated from Spamhaul, however, was.

This general attitude is going to take a bit of time, effort, and work on the staff's - and the members - part to improve. The forum, ideally, was a good idea. It was a general place to have off-topic discussion. However, instead of using it for that, most of the community used it to troll, be general dicks to one another, and so on. This attitude carried out over the boards, yes, in a less dramatic way, but still enough to effect the overall posting attitude.

This is your chance, tSR, to prove that you're capable of being friendly, constructive, and helpful. The staff is here to help, and here to warn- that is, if you don't comply with these changes.

Let's make tSR a better place. On that note, Grooveman and I have finished restructuring the forums, and we hope they'll run more smoothly from here on out.

I'm... not even really sure what you're getting at anymore. So you're saying that your complaint (whatever it is) doesn't actually have to do with Spamhaul being closed?

In which case, just what on earth are you griping about? Serious question; I am seriously having a hard time following you here.

in the case there happens to be something like a forum riot or raid with a bunch of people who became jerks because they couldn't handle the harshness of the community, what will happen there?
I know there is a slim chance of that happening but in the case it does over something in that sort of situation i'm wondering whether or not the staff team could handle it. it's happened before and it could happen again.

Anyway Dio, that all happened before spamhaul was opened when Zee and I were too strict. Now that the staff team is better in many ways I doubt that will happen again, not to mention our e-mail accounts are much more secure.

I barely got to use it, oh dear

I know my opinion doesn't count for much and I haven't seen much but I felt like since the Friend Zone thing attitudes started to clear up a bit? Sort of...? A lot of the meaner folk seemed to stay there and not really go to other sections too much. Lots of TSR culture in there too. But if that's the decision then I guess that's it. I just hope one day we can have it back and use it the right way

edit: 1up's post makes this sound a bit dumb but that's okay!

not me. taking spamhaul out of the forums was, is, and will be a terrible decision, not to say something that wont change anything at all with the rest of the forums.
