Finished the ghosts, finally. It was the most boring thing to do so far.
Ness' pajamas walking are finished, I just need to finish the yawning animations.
King in all directions made by Pik. I have permission to use that.
and a little bit of progress on Ness robot.

The ghosts could probably do with a tiny bit of shading (even a few white pixels would be fine), but very good!

Heh, your right, it's pretty weird doing the ghosts in this style, I will revisit them soon and maybe only use two shades. If push comes to shove, I might make them white like the ghosts in M3 instead of transparent.

You know what? I did a double take on Jeff, and your right, I am revisiting Ness and Jeff to total satisfactory... as we speak right now... So you guys might expect a couple of versions with me arguing with myself over what to use.

So what's new with this version? (if it isn't already obvious.)
Adjusted Ness' Face and Hat to be more similar to the EB version.
added a couple of shades to keep the effect of the hat.
Jeff I fixed his legs and his hair and face. to be more like his clay model.
He's pretty much gotten a total makeover you can say.
Maybe I'll do the same with Paula, right now, she is fine. But I'd probably see something wrong soon, so... Yup.
most likely you'll see several edits of this post tonight of me redesigning them.
I once again give credit to Pik on helping me with this.

Jeff, I agree needs a new look but Ness looks fine as he is. But, hey their your sprites.

Jeff's skinny legs adds a lot to his "nerd" appeal, actually. He is not supposed to be a badass like Ness or Poo, after all.

I summed it down to two final ones... Most likely I'll use the one on the left. Still not sure though..

So anyway, I don’t know where to start on what I’ve done, so I’ll just post an abridged sheet of everything I’ve done by far;


Added more face shading, Ness’ Cap no longer looks like a helmet, and his shirt now has a richer purple to it.
Paula edited to look more like a spriter named LittleMetaldrops version, credit to her since It’s much better than mines.
Jeff no has more brighter toned hair. Glasses edited slightly,
Poo has more face detail and smoother shading on his robe. And hair has more perspective in it.

Also redid Porky’s hair, and stance.

As for the MOTHER Cast I’m getting done little progress with them, So I’ve gotten a friend of mine named EarthBorn on board to work with them and see what he comes up with. But whatever I did is…
Hopefully less gradience on Nintens shoes.
Made Lloyd’s hair a brighter gray and More vibrant toned shirt.
Made ironed out Ana’s dress.
Not much going on with Teddy besides a change in his shoes.

and Revamped the M3 Gang, check the corner.

*I could Really use someone that can sprite Vehicles, or just donate some, besides that, this project is going smooth.

Yeah, I'm redoing all the graphical content of The first Two games. Eventually I'll get to the towns. I can do Enemy sprites myself, Just vehicles and Environments I'm gonna need some help with. It's kinda hard with at least 3 people on board of this project.

It really will be, don't worry, (I hope at least)
Sprites on the chosen 4 sheet will feature:
Robot Ness, Paula jeff and Poo (they will have different appearances as robots)
Young Ness, bedhead Ness and King.

We're now hiring, too, We could use a couple of more people, details at first post.

But, why dojn't youn try to sprite ness' house in a topview flat perspective like Mother3/pokémon? It'll show that you didn't just base yourself off the earthbound one

I really wasn't a fan of MOTHER3's flat perspective tbh, It was boring to me, idk.
It liked How it appeared in EB better, because it's perspective pops out more imo.
Should it be that one? I could work on a different version if so.
