is anybody done enough with their shoddy team to help me try out my own team?

I personally think that the reward Pokemon should relate to the leader's theme, like TMs in the games.

Like I have a dragon - which i guess is kind of ancient - with my team's move, Ancientpower

e: I might have to be shoddy-only because my team is mixed between HG and Pt, but the Ancientpower Charmander will be real (cloned, but real).

e2: I'm setting up my shoddy team, but at what level do my Pokemon need to be?

We are doing level 100 tiers, on Shoddy at least.

As for having teams on HGSS/Pt, I can make an exception if they are still YOUR Pokemon. What I'm really trying to prevent is you getting Pokemon from trades from other people and using them in your team. As long as yo have raised all the Pokemon yourself, then you may use them.

It is OK to use Shoddy until your team is finalized-- I don't have a single one of the Pokemon in my gym roster in game.

EDIT: I would like to test my team out as well, once I find movesets and such for Vibrava and Ampharos.

@robo9: Since I'm allowed to count Scyther as my NFE, you should be allowed to use Vigoroth (smogon says Scyther is UU). I'd say go for it, but it's not up to me

Wes your movesets are sort of lack luster. They are acceptable, but not really anything flashy or "strategic" or w/e.

Well, when I was thinking about what Pokemon I wanted, I realized that the majority of Flying types are based off of birds. So i wanted to represent other animals besides birds that are still flying type. Each one has a move of it's type, a flying move, and other general attack moves (the strategy is hitting hard with everything they've got, which is why they all have mostly attack moves). I can change things up though. Probably will, this is all still being worked out.

I was thinking, if you said you'd later implement an E4, why not have the eight who win their first match compete for places 5-E4 and the losers compete for the 1-4

Or 6-Champion, and have the four who don't win in the losers bracket compete for the first gym, although it'd be a bit more of a hassle

although this would entirely depend on all 16 types being taken

@Wes: OOOooooooooh okay, I thought they were all just moves picked willy nilly. Makes sense now, but a few more non-attack moves are welcome. :-)

@Sengir: Yeah items allowed.

@robo9: I think we will decide the E4 situation down the line. As of right now, I'm thinking we will have more leaders than competitors.

but how are you goin to have the E4 picked? Having to rebattle the top 4 leaders again wouldn't make much sense but that mightve not been what you meant before
