I'm filling up my Pokedex in Heartgold, and I beat Soulsilver months ago. Red wasn't so hard as I remember. Maybe my Pokemon are just better this time around. XD

Basically for me, lance was revive ditto, lock on, sheer cold, thanks to that transform glitch. Gya went down easy to raichu, as did charizard, dragonite ohko it with outrage, got paralyzed by static, draonite was fully paralyzed on his turn with outrage, and got ohko by ditto. And the rest couldnt kill ditto in one hit with dragon rush, and quick powder had ditto outspeed them.
So now Im restarting my team to take on Kanto. So far its

Mr Mime
Exeggcutor

Entei can go slit his wrists. I mean his health is so low that I shuold be able to catch him no problem, breaks outta every fast ball, duskball, and greatball/ultraball I throw at him. I'm done with this shit.

I need to grind my a hell lot to beat the elite 4. I have doubts that I'll even pass Karen with the team I have now. (Barely even passed bruno)
Current team consists of:
Togepi lvl 12 (Exp share) <- going to level up this lil' bastard for a bit and get him better
Tangrowth lvl 38
Murkrow lvl 35
Feraligator lvl 38 (Mystic water)
Espeon lvl 40 (twisted spoon)
Gyrados lvl 40 (shell bell)
also yesterday managed to catch Lugia with a few ultra balls, it was a pain in the ass with out making it fall asleep.

also pretty sure you can't get togekiss before beating the elite 4 the first time in HG/SS

all you need is a shiny stone and boom!!! you have a togekiss

Caught Smeargle. Trying to figure out some good places for it to learn moves without getting butchered. Hmm...
Also, if you use a Focus Band, does it disappear???

No. Focus Band will continue to keep the holder alive at entirely random intervals.

Focus SASH will only work once per battle if it's an OHKO; but it'll still be around. Just don't Trick it away or Fling it or something.

Focus Sash is what I have, and it's not there after it's first use.
