When you say DK, I'll assume you mean Diddy Kong since he's who they're talking about and not the actual DK.

Also, I don't think it particularly matters that he's been in more Mario games then his own. He still isn't part of the Mario franchise.

Also, getting technical, Diddy has been in around 13 DK games and roughly 8 Mario games. Seems more like he was in more of his own games than in Mario games doesn't it? Unless I'm not thinking of a few games.

Those aren't cameos, as in Samus taking a nap in Mario RPG. He was a part of the cast and crew. A cast that is made up entirely of Mario-only characters implying that in some sort of way Diddy is a Mario character... sorta. I mean its quite obvious that Nintendo believes this to be so. Look. The connection IS there. Nintendo considers Diddy to be somewhat a part of the greater Mario cast. Even more so than Wario characters!

K. Rool and Kremlings are even featured in the Mario Sports games, and maybe you can argue if its canon or not, you cannot deny that DK elements are so strong in Mario games it would be ridiculous to overlook it.

So yeah...

I mean if you are that critical on if canon means something, than that means Waluigi doesn't exist.

Koopaul is right this time. DK is kind of part of the "extended universe" in the same way that Spider-Man and the X-Men are part of the same world.

I have a question about the roster.

Im not trying to find a loophole to get more characters added, but does this roster apply only to the game?

I mean, if someone wanted to make a different character in this style, would you not accept them? Or just keep them out of the game. Also, if you did accept them on the tSR, would you just keep them out of the SSB forum?

Im not really wanting another character in the roster, im just curious.

Roster looks pretty good actually, and I've dropped that argument since I've found an alternative (which would be hacking Brawl ) to play as the characters I want to play as.

I'd help if I still had my old spriting skills, now nearly entirely rusted over. :/

By the by, could someone tell me where the Fantasy Smash Project topic went? I needed somethin from that, yet I can't find it...
