k it's a ok sprite I guess but he should just only be 1-2 pixels taller then kirby.

I have been practising spriting for a while now, and I think I’m good enough to show of my work.
So here is my Goomba I made for this project:

And animated:

So, what do you think? Is it good enough? Is it better than the other one?

You used a black outline in the sprite.
That isn't KA style

I'll fix that. But are black eyebrows ok? I think I’ve seen some kirby sprites with a few black details.

Acctually I think they are even, mine a bit better in shape, buyt yours has something cool.
Can you try animating mine?

Fixed the black outlines and made some minor fixes:

I can try to animate yours later. Do you want it to walk like mine or sideways like in the classic Mario games?

EDIT: I had uploaded the wrong pictures, fixed.

EDIT 2: I have animated yours now, and I changed the colours to the same as mine. I might do one with a more complicated walk style tomorrow, I was a bit lazy...

First Ever attempt at KA style.
The color palette was made in segments from a 'Kirby Colors' Sheet made by Drshnaps. It was hand-compiled by me to help myself out AND to avoid cluttering my destop with Kirby sheets.

ville10 I think that you should just make goomba's head shorter and maybe play with the eyebrows a bit.
and crazy70 make the shyguy about the size of the YI one (not smaller) and push in the mask a bit.

At least in smash bros, that is the right size, but I might try to make it smaller later.
And I know the eyebrows arent the best, I'm still working on them.

EDIT: I forgot to ask what you think about it apart from that. Are the shape ok?

Good, we will go with your goomba, It looks best, sorry killer, maybe make something else. Also ,make the eyebrows bigger, and the body a pixel wider.

It's OK CY, but I don't remember Goombas being EGG shaped.
If you look at ville's picture, mine is clearly better in shape.

His is just too skinny, just widen it two pixels and it's perfect.
