Don't get me wrong, I love Marina, she's just not that popular.

but just so people know I don't want him in, I'd much rather have Tails or Knuckles.

There are multiple polls on those four pages. Until you provide a correct translation of those pages you do not get to use it as "evidence."

It'd be funny if the page translated out into "Which Sonic character would you like to see thrown under a train and die?" Granted, I know that's not the case... I'd laugh so hard if it was. xD

Seriously though, Shadow was a pretty cool concept, but I felt that concept would have worked better if isolated into one game. I mean, he's essentially a clone of what Sonic is, he provides a villainous foil that is equal and opposite Sonic, he looks dark, and he eventually strives for redemption that (at the time) ended with self sacrifice. You have to admit, on paper, that sounds like a pretty cool concept, no?

Then they brought him back, and I haven't played a sonic game outside of Sonic Advance ever since. xD

sonic battle is really good storyline and dialogue-wise.
the writer of that game should be writing all Sonic games, really

I don't think shadow is a bad character, but hes definitely been overused. He definitely isn't someone who should get in over Tails or Knuckles though.

Oh and if anyone cares that question here translates to something like "Which character do you like the most?" in English.

I agree. Shadow isn't a bad idea at all, really. I like him. He's just a bit overrated and overused.

well also he had a bunch of badass chaos attacks that made him more unique than sonic with jetboots who can teleport which sonic can also do apparently

I vote Tails! I like Tails, he has been Sonic's sidekick way before Knuckles. We already got Little Mac as a boxer character.
That, and I hardly think anyone has forgotten about SOnic Battle ya? Tails CAN fight.

But if we'd go for that idea to only have on 3rd part character per series, I'd suggest Klonoa instead, what with Klonoa being released some months ago.

Tails is more of a support character. Like Megaman and Bass would be playable but Protoman wouldn't. Same relationship.
