I just made my first Pixal Art...

It sort of looks like my avatar concidentally (except that was official by Sega) but I think it does need improving in terms of the drawing, shading and in colour selection. However it is good that it wasn't traced and done from scratch.

If I was better at drawing/pixel art since I admittedly am rubbish, then I would help you. Maybe somebody else would suggest improvements.

Ok tips.

Spriting is an artform, take your time with it.

Basically you should look around and take some tips from other sprites. There's hardly any shading, and the lightsource essentially doesnt work.
