Mod.Gen isn't dead!
The projects aren't dead, I just haven't been visiting here. HOWEVER I plan on making stops here more often for the sake of the project. At the moment, sheets are being updated from their older, crappier versions to nicer, more accurate versions.

Here are the new looks for the sheets so far:

I'll be updating the topics with their sheets later tonight.

Fantastic progress. Can't wait for more stuff. Big Grin

You should add Luigi's Thunderhand to Mario attack.

Thank you! Right now I (we) have been busy getting the old sheet to the new V2 designs. Sonic is the main focus at the moment, once he's updated attention can also be given to the others. ... I believe Shadow's sheet has already been updated thanks to one person's hard work.

RE: Mod.Gen isn't dead!
Eggman will be updated if someone puts up a new/better looking mod.gen version of him.

Anyone can contribute as long as your skills are up to par on your submissions Smile

RE: Mod.Gen isn't dead!
Almost every sprite on the mod gen repository links to a 404. This is unfortunate as I was hoping to use them for a fangame.
I know that Shinbaloonba recently finished these:

But I was wondering if the rest of the sprites were recoverable.

RE: Mod.Gen isn't dead!
It's a sticky thread- surely, necroing isn't really a thing in a sticky? Personally I find more annoying the spam posts that have nothing to do with the thread in hand and only serve to chastise whoever bumped.

In any regards, he raises a good point. The answer is that the Mod Gen repository is still work in progress, and has no linked sheets as far as I'm aware of.

in fact i should warn you instead, alexmach. not only KKM and supersonic is right, you made a pretty pointless post. When coming to a potentially warnable post, REPORT it instead of replying to it.

RE: Mod.Gen isn't dead!
Most of the mod.gen sprites don't link anywhere yet. A few do, but not many. Most are there for show for some beautiful, wonderful day when there will be things behind them when you click them.

UNTIL THEN there is a slight adjustment to how things are going to be done. We are going to work to get every main sheet to have at least the same amount of movement that Sonic 1 had. We're going to be calling this the tier 1 stage. After the main sheets at least have this level of movement, I will see about side sheets gaining this tier as well.

As a note, when I say 'main' sheets, I am referring to the most important/frequently seen characters in the series: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Eggman. Eggman is currently being remade entirely, and due to the uniqueness of his form, he may or may not be subject to the new tier system. I'm thinking he probably will be, just because.

That's awesome. Glad that it's still being worked on. I take it the main dev thread(s) is at MFZ, correct?

RE: Mod.Gen isn't dead!
MFZ is the most active place for Mod. Gen. I try to come in here and keep people updated, but I'm not always the best at that. I apologize for that. Everyone here is just as important as anyone at MFZ, I just don't come here often.
