trying to design a main character for my RPG

don't really like any of them except the top one.

the idea is, he's supposed to be uninteresting and bland compared to all of the NPCs. But he's also supposed to look like a defenseless 12 year old boy

none of those really accomplish those : <

I'd love the bottom-right if his eyes weren't so creepy. Try making them bored instead of locked in an INTENSE STARE.
