Much better.
I say, make the highlight what it was before, but have them both on the right side.

Also, except for the new run, the head look weird because the ears are to much to the side. The should be more upward.

Yeah, originally I just used him for size comparison and colors. The orangeish pikachu was the one for this project before mine.

His ears should be higher up on his face (maybe a pixel or so), and angled more upward.

Well, here's a quick update on the run. I've been trying to get the ears to look right, but each time I change them, they just look worse and worse. I'll post some of my attempts later.

His body is facing 45, and his head is facing 90. It looks awkward like that.

The tail is fine.

I know. Originally I had the head facing the same as the body, but people said it's look better sideways. I don't want to change the whole thing to be sideways, because the style of this project isn't completely sideways. It'd be weird to have him face at an agle while standing and do everything else sideways.

The ears look fine, well, that's just my opinion.

Looks great!

The body and head being in different directions does look weird...

I liked the first run animation.
Although, maybe you could tilt the first one's head just a bit to the right, but not as much as the second one's head.

I like the seconed one. The first one look like it might jump out of the screen.
