It's simply white there on the palette, and pure white doesn't exactly work for shading that... Just keep it within multiple of 8 sides and don't stray too much from the original style. also Jawnsunn's sprite should be completely outlined with dark gray. I can also add another row of colors on the palette, what do you think, and which color would you like? I know it's late (I'm never on at 12:30 AM ), but all those straight lines in his lower area bother me (his right (left) leg's completely straight and his shoes are blocky). It looks great otherwise.

There are probably anatomy issues or something, but I wanted to illustrate about smoothing the corners of the shoes, and thought it'd look better if his leg was bent similar to this. It's your sprite, so you can change or not change whatever you want, but I just wanted to give my input.
