Not quite "dead", but along the lines of "cursed". I mean, after Fusilli got his just desserts, he still performed.
Also, love how we can re-create the puppets from this episode anytime we want.. Sad that this could mean the only Courage merch we could ever get..

You kind of have to consider the symbolism of that scene though. Looking at it close enough when Courage controls Eustace when he makes him say "Stupid Dog" and the typical green mask thing he does, You actually see courage's mouth move.
with that kind of symbolism you kind of get the idea that he's coping with death in a weird way. If it wasn't for season two that would have been the finale.
Speaking of courage I came across this gem from a long time ago.
the fact this flash game used pixel art to an extent really makes me fucking happy.
