I noticed I've only ever submitted one sheet to the site so I thought that if I did something really simple I might actually be able to finish it

I think for like holding the weapons he should have more of a sturdy stance than standing up regularly straight. (Bending knees, legs farther apart.)
This is cute though.

Are you trying to draw Zelda?

Anyway nice walk cycle, I love the jumpy look that 4 frame walk cycles have. Adds a cartoon look to it. Shading seems a bit imposing though and if you aren't picky on color counts I'd shade the sword a bit too.

calm your boner i'm just foolin'

Cool animation but how's it look after a walk cycle? I'd assume his sword just jerks up and then he brings it down...that may look a bit odd. I'm not sure, try it out.

fixed his hat when his head is tilted up, changed the shape of his swinging sword, other fixes

the attack sequence looks weak as hell. Give the animation a lot more impact.

I love the attack animation. There is so much character in it. Cute

RE: floppy green hat guy - Cobalt Blue - 01-25-2011 01:43 AM

that walking animation could surely use at least 2 more frames to match the attack sequence's flow.

RE: floppy green hat guy - Mr. Popo - 01-25-2011 11:08 PM

The walking animation kind of looks jagged when I look at it closely, I'd kind of smooth it out if you plan on tweaking it.

New attack sequence
