also had a match agaisnt one of those arabain demoknights. you'd be surprised how easy was to beat it by just platforming around, negating the use of its charge. any obstacle small enough to force him to jump(i.e tires) can do the work just fine. even for a medic.

Nowadays I barely get hit by that baseball, and the only times I have were when I was either a Soldier or a Heavy.

thats the point. nothing else should be hit by that ball(besides snipers). and you can even blast it back with a pyro.

Does the croc skin hat add more defense for the sniper as well? I notice the skinback made me last a lot longer than I usually do.
edit: oh wait its anti-headshot death if you equip an entire set, hat alone won't do anything.

I can describe how much I missed TF2 since I stopped playing.

Uh, that really shouldn't be due to a TF2 problem :F
Even if you got TF2 for free, Steam itself is a free program that -should- allow you to friend people.
Plus, Steam's been wonky for a few days now since the TF2 megaupdate, so that's probably why you can't get or accept friend requests.
I could also be very wrong and you might need to buy yourself a fifty-cent item in the Mann-Co store (use the other $4.50 on other Steam games) for the premium member access :C

I think, since the steam security update, you can't add or accept friends if you haven't bought something to stop spambots and phishing.
